Yeah, the title is not entirely correct, but who cares, right? I can't even think straight these days, not even to talk about my missing concentration (which I really miss as exams are coming up, two of them tomorrow already ). Temperatures stay around 30°C these days & barely drop lower even at night. There's no moment when I don't sweat & I already took three showers today. On-and-off-headache is another negative side-effect of this incredible heat. Seriously, moderate climate, anyone?Another sad thing: the FIFA worldcup is over & we didn't win. Boo! We still got bronze, though. I don't really like the fact, that Spain won the cup as I had hoped for the Netherlands to make it. Anyways, despite of that I will really really miss the daily matches. Well, that means less work for my television, I guess.I went swimming on Friday & it was amazing. We have a bathing ship in Berlin, where there is a pool on top of our river Spree (sounds cool, right?) & it really is a great place to be. It's a great experience to linger in the water & have the river around you. And it's really cheap, too - 3€ for students. At the end of the day it got really crowded though & after 5 hours in the sun, without much shade, we decide to leave.
this is what it looks like in autumn/winter. (

Exam time also means that the end of semester is coming up - I can't wait. If everything turns out fine, I'll be back in Sweden in the beginning of August for the first time in too many years. I always missed that country so much, it's like a symbol for my childhood days - we went there for the family summer holidays for many years in a row.I will try to get some sleep now & learn for my exams tomorrow morning.
